Sweet Revival - Monday's @ The HiFi Club "I'd already been to Sweet Revival before its reincarnation in the HiFi club, so I was interested to find out if it had changed. One of the first things that I noticed was the fact that the queue to get in was pretty big, so I'd advise getting there early, we were on the guest list so went straight to the front of the queue - which was cool. The crowd inside was a pretty mixed & friendly one all out for a noisy good time, & it was packed. The music policy was one a funk/soul persuasion & was pretty damn good overall, however the claimed Hip-Hop didn't really fall into my own definition of what I'd class as Hip-Hop. The DJ's are extremely lively, & seem to be quite accepting of requests, one complaint would be that they talk too much, they reminded me of the DJ's on the dodgems at the fair. However, the couple of negative points weren't enough to ruin the night, good music, friendly people & good music can't be bad. Definitely worth a visit, there's not much else going on Monday night." - Emlyn Hagan
