Tracklisting
REVIEW The album boast many of the big names in the R&B scene; Destiny’s Child, Usher, Lemar, Snoop Dogg, 2 Pac, Nelly and Outkast to name but a few. It is these names that will sell the album along with some great tracks straight out of the charts, ‘Amerie – One Thing’, ‘Rihanna – Pon de Replay’ and ‘Lady Sovereign – 9 to 5’. Couple this with some fantastic older tracks such as ‘Justin Timberlake – Cry Me a River’, ‘Eve and Gwen Stefani – Let me Blow ya Mind’ and LL Cool J’s classic ‘Lounging’ and you have a fantastic album packed full of great tracks. The album’s disappointments surprisingly come from some of the big names with very weak offerings from R. Kelly, Usher and Destiny’s Child, however with only 7 songs to let the album down out of a 40 track compilation it is pretty impressive. The mix works well and manages to tick all the boxes, with enough upbeat tracks to hold your interest and some great slowies to sit back and chill to, the amazing ‘If I Ain’t Got You’ by Alicia Keys & Usher particularly stands out. This album delivers
a fantastic mix of old and new tracks, with some classics thrown in,
the sort of album that would work for listening to when getting ready
for a big night out or just chilling out at home. It is a strange
mixture with some songs you probably wouldn’t expect to find
together on an album, but somehow it works?!" by Karen
