Discotheque
by Gatecrasher
"Gatecrasher
has announced details of its long awaited second nightclub.
Discothèque, a chic new clubbing experience, will explode
onto the Leeds nightscene in September. The club, which will
also incorporate a hip bar, is set to become the place to be
seen for the trendy party goers of the city playing tunes to
match all tastes.
The £3million
Leeds venue set in New Briggate, the heart of Leeds Northern
Quarter, has been selected because of its size and location,
and is being designed and built to suit the profile of the city.
Leeds has everything to attract the city's high flyers and fashion
set with its top stores and boutiques, along with some of the
most exclusive restaurants in the UK - and now Discothèque,
THE night out for those looking for the ultimate in sophistication
and glamour. The decor will be colourful and vibrant with an
uplifting and soulful soundtrack to match.

The
development of the Leeds venue has the more sophisticated clubber
in mind. The venue will feature two floors, six bars, a separate
VIP suite, an interactive lighting system and the Gatecrasher
Signature sound system for the world's leading DJ's and acts
to play on. The relaxed plush surroundings are a move away from
the trance image of the Gatecrasher of old and a move into a
mixture of all styles of music that will suit the club's more
discerning customer. |
The club will
be the first addition to the brands original Sheffield venue, Gatecrasher
One, as the company aims to open ten sites in major cities across
the UK over the next five years, including Birmingham and Bristol.
This will pave the way for Gatecrasher's revolutionary 'Boutique Blueprint'
a new way of clubbing and thinking.
Think BIG! Think
Rock and Roll! Think Supernova!, Gatecrasher's 10 individual style
led venues are to be the base for night life pleasure seekers and
total exhibitionists, where sipping champagne and daring cocktails
and listening to music that moves you is the order of the evening.
Simon Raine, founder
and Managing Director of Gatecrasher, said: "Leeds is one of
the UK's most vibrant and exciting cities so it's natural we'd want
our second venue to be there. With an elegant style and inclusive
music policy that will complement the city and its already established
nightlife, the Leeds music policy will be different on every night
of the week. The brand has moved away from its traditional trance
and harder edged routes and now plays all styles of music, mirroring
the music policy of its sister club in Sheffield, Gatecrasher One."
